Howdy Dan, I would suggest talking to Van, IIRC he is also using the 825cc in a solo bike. He has the high compression pistons but he hasn't posted on the bike or the engine for a long time I don't know how his pistons are holding up but the internet if full of stories of the high compression pisto...

I still say, pop off the heads turn the flywheel, and check for scaring on the sidewalls that you can see.

A.I. still needs some kind of power source. This weakness makes it where it is not so scary to me...but who knows. I never thought of AI in the way that "they" could have transmitters on different planets and such, and the AI could transmit their "conscience" to another planet such like how we send ...

A little off subject but reflects to the mpg question....are the new FI models like the old ones where you need to break them in and not exceed a certain speed and you don't really see improvement till after a bit of break in.......

Even so 20mpg is a bit low for even before break in

AS STATED ABOVE ^^^^^^Word of caution^^^^^ Using the front brake when going in reverse will bend the torsion bar.....I know I have done it on my 2005...bent so much it rubbed the rotor.

Just needs some studs or spikes :D

I like it, only thing is make sure to remove and wipe clean underneath..moisture and dirt collect under tank bags!
