Re: Owners Who owned BOTH Harleys and Ural sidecar rigs

I ride Both. Have a 13Retro and a 02Ultra sidecar rig. Have no plans on selling either. Love them both. The Harley is good for long trips. I can run 600 to 700 miles a day on her. The Ural, 300 miles and you are wore slap out. I live in the mountains of N.C. and love the Ural for mtn runs. When its...

Owners Who owned BOTH Harleys and Ural sidecar rigs

This post is moved from the Virtual watering hole. To be clear, I am looking to hear from owners who have owned Harley sidecar rigs and Urals. I have been sitting on the fence ever since Hannigan came out with the Heritage sidecar for Indians and started mounting them on Harleys a couple years ago. ...

Re: 2007 Ural GearUp 2WD Sidecar Rig For Sale

I LOVED my 2007 Gear Up....and prefer the soft painted pattern to the new one on my 2016 Gear Up. Wish you all the best.

CL find Northern Alabama 2013 GU $13.5

Probably about an hour and a half from me if someone is serious and needs someone to look at it. I am not affiliated with the seller.

Re: I have a real Ural

Have to admit I order most parts through my local dealer because I want to support them as at two hours away they are local compared to others and I want to help them stay with Ural. I also use Gene at Hollowpaw, or Terry Crawford.

I have a real Ural

I have been worried for some time that I had accidentally gotten one of those cheap imitation Urals, you know, like the knock off Rolexes you can get on a street corner. I mean really, the 2016 Gear Up I purchased from the same dealer I bought my 2014 from has been running GREAT! At 1200 KMs I had t...

Re: 2017s are out I guess.

hope Ural doesent get to 21st century on the new outfits, internal great external not so much. i like the old fashioned style dash and the solo seat whats next.think Ural should make 21st century changes but be careful the basic appeal has always been the 1930s look. it probably will never appeal t...

Re: What did you do ON your Ural today?

First ride today in a long time that wasn't just back and forth to work. Rode 100 miles through rolling hills, valleys with winding rivers and streams, and just enjoyed the ride.

Steve, thanks for emailing me. Somehow I missed this post but it has been a crazy couple of weeks for me as I said. We have another Ural owner in Huntsville and maybe I can talk him into riding his CT over too.

Re: Any Enfield owners - HELP !

I am looking forward to the Himilayan. If it comes in between $4-5k U.S. like initially indicated it could be a great little bike. If the few dealers pump up the price above that though there are too many other good options I can think of for light weight dual sports. In the meantime I am slowly att...
