Re: Why I Hate my 2017 CT...

I had paint issues with my 2012. Heindl worked with Ural to get me a new fender at no cost. Also had my crank bearing blow 3 weeks out of warranty. They rebuilt it at no charge. Problems with the Ural, yes. Problems with the dealer and Ural corp., not at all. 6 weeks into my new 2017 M70 and loving...

Come on Van, they're not even tied down. I know if anyone could get 10 more on there it would be you. ;-)

That's a lot of tires!

IMWA Increased discounts on new bikes

As of a couple hours ago IMWA just added an extra $500 trade in allowance on top of what a dealer will give you on a trade in to go along with their fall $1000 off any new bike campaign. Wonder if dealers will lower the amount they will take your trade in for knowing that it will get bumped up an ex...

Hey. Be careful with that storm down there. Did you ever settle on a rig?

Re: Wanting To Buy - 2WD > 2014

Hi, I have been reading, posting and asking questions. Am ready to take the plunge with our first sidecar rig. Have been going back and forth between new and used and actually got what I thought was decent pricing from the dealer in MA. Visiting Holopaw next weekend. I may still end going new if we...

Re: My Ural Sidecar Saved My Life

Damm IvanRider ..sure am glad you are okay. Unbelievable that another rider would mess with anyone's bike regardless of make. I agree with seeing if there is any video surveillance tapes of the area. Well said Mr. Cobb. My two Harleys ride mostly with a buddy on a Goldwing and his wife on a Spyder. ...

Re: Ordered a 2017 Patrol today.

What are the highway speeds you'll be traveling the 60 miles home? New Urals are a dog when new when it comes breaking them in, highway speeds, and hills. If your route has these it may be money well spent to have the rig delivered so you can learn to drive it locally so to speak. Old school was don...

Re: Does anyone's low fuel light work?

Funny thing is IMWA thinks this is a non issue with 2015+. Even if you live by the trip meter it is probably worth asking your dealer to notify the mothership if your low fuel light doesn't come on. A working low fuel light might just be the next technological breakthrough. My low fuel light worked ...

Thanks everyone. Going to ride up to Hannigan tomorrow if the weather holds. Should be a nice ride of just under 500 miles roundtrip. Figure it is best to see one in person.

Re: Owners Who owned BOTH Harleys and Ural sidecar rigs

Problem with big fancy rigs is that once one gets it right, and after the investment in getting it and getting right, one is reluctant to part with it and ends up with an antique without meaning to. Thanks Big James. That is definitely part of my dilemma...and what makes me struggle with the decisi...
