For a total loss electrical system, I would consider adding LED's to the headlight as shown in the post below from a Chang Jiang site. During daylight hours a couple watts of LED's provide the appearance of the headlight being on, sucking your battery dry. http://www.changjiangunlimited.com/tb2049.h...
