My favorite white lie was bikes for sale in Western Oregon that had in the descriptor “...never ridden in the rain.”

Single-shot assault rifle. Only in Cali.

And that is a gorgeous rifle. Thanks for sharing.

Hmm, novel marketing approach.

You might also list the kilometers on the rig, which owner you are if known (original, second, third, etc.).

GLWS. Sorry for your Ural troubles.

Re: Anybody use Double Take mirrors on their Urals?

Double Take makes a round mirror, which would fit the Ural cosmetically and mechanically. Believe it’s called the Scrambler. They also have a Trail model, that is round as well.

Sweet-looking Patrol. Hope you have many happy klicks together.

My better half is from Meesh-e-ghan (Ypsi and Grand Rapids). She always says “what accent?” when I tease her.

Re: Broke out old warhorse for the Fourth: 92FS

We can’t pump our own gas in Orygun, but at least we can have mags that hold more than 10 rounds. And unlike NJ, which also bans self-service gas, we can have hollowpoint rounds in Orygun. Hope the 9th Circuit decision overturning the ban on mags over 10 rounds holds up. Thanks for reminding me. Bet...

Re: For those of us who are bi-boardal

Did they pick a different software platform as the old system RI used was abysmal. I was Baxter’s Driver over at RI and learned lots of things as a then Ural newbie.

Dang, I’ve been there several times on GSA day trips. Place nearby had great elk burgers. Wonder if it’s gone, too.

I’ll be polite, Lew, and not point out you guys in CA can only have 10-round magazines. :P

Re: WASR-10 AK vs. various tin cans, plastic lemons

Mine has the classic slant left brake, pushes muzzle down and left which makes stock go up. May throw a set of Magpul MOE furniture on it and a low power scope. Right now my WASR is cheap wood stocks and Warsaw length. Stupid fun to shoot, even with the occasional cheek slap and bruised shoulder. Ol...

Msblu79 - Thanks for the info. I have a weakness for the Beretta 92 series. I keep looking at the Centurion as it’s a short slide on a full size receiver. I had a 92FS Compact, but it just didn’t fit my hand. Figure there’s either an A1 or a Centurion in my future once the ammo shortage lightens.

I have not been able to find it or any mention of its release. Could be bad GoogleFu on my end.

WASR-10 AK vs. various tin cans, plastic lemons

The good news: I have enough 7.62 x 39 ammo I can shoot a couple of 30-round magazines with a clear conscience. Nothing fancy, Tua Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) from Mother Russia. Steel case and 122 grains. The better news: Iron sights, kneeling and sitting I was able to hit empty tin cans and those plas...

I sent them $100 for “Sit, Stay, Ride II” and am still waiting for its release.
