If it works for you, do what works for you. For the rest of us, there's a joy in less mundane options. That's told me then! :...

Re: one cylinder

Very slim. I've think we've run out of ideas hence no replies lately. :( Trouble is we're trying to diagnose from a distance, can't look at it up close. All we can go by is what you're tellng us. Personally I think whatever went wrong the first time, is still in there. Maybe it is wetness related. S...

Re: What did you do ON your Ural today?

Uh, damping steering? :) OK, which means what? :D With a sidecsr outfit you can often get a bit of front wheel wobble, that is handlebars shake (side to side) at slow speed, typically around 20 mph. The damper stops the shake. That's all it's supposed to do. You might be expecting more from it howe...

Re: Warning, Will Robinsonski

you can connect battery to battery with bikes ignition key in OFF position ... I see no issues doing it this way I can, many modern bikes' electronics are permanently connected to battery plus. Ural EFI ECU's have a constant live feed from battery plus. Not sure what it does tho but the wires are g...

I was going to post that too! Thanks. :D

DO NOT run dry EFI Ural. Mega aggro.

What I do now is plan journeys so I got a good idea where I need to refuel next. Any doubts, I got jerry can so stop and put some in. Top it up next filling station along with tank.

Re: Tight Fork Separator

What is a 'fork separator'? No can't visualize it either. :( When you say "brought jack down", was it gently, or did the bike basically fall down? If the latter sounds like you bent something When I have my front wheel out I put a strong box, crate type of thing, under the front crashbar in case th...
