Re: Fuel Light - Worthless

I have a 2019 cT and the indicator has been bullet proof. You may be speaking from a position of ignorance here. The OP's 2016 came with an optical fuel level sensor that would invariably swell under the influence of ethanol fuel, causing it to become inoperable. A group of us ordered aftermarket r...

Re: Deep Sump Question

If you bake a cake with it, you need to leave it in the oven longer than the baking directions indicate because the aluminum is considerably thicker than a baking pan.

I believe the forum had a little "glitch" going on for a bit, there. Perhaps JohnBG was performing a software update at the time? Not sure.

Re: Cracked wheels replacement options

Who is selling $160 OEM rims? I just got a dealer quote for 19"-ers with the holes angled for the drum rims and they were a hundred bucks over that! Ouch. Chad, I tried to answer this yesterday but the Quote function wasn't working. I looked up the rims on the AF1 Racing site and the price was $160...

Of course, this is only for late model Urals. The 650's and early 750's had the gearbox breather on the right-hand side, as shown on the second page of this thread:

Re: What did you do to your Ural today?

Took LokiBoy’s advice from when we were doing the 20k service... used a white paint pen to paint the TDC marker so it will be easier to identify during the next service. If you're really patient, you could probably duplicate my Amazing Technicolor Dream Flywheels through the crankcase timing window...
