Re: Spare Part Cleanout

7 minutes Chad. :? Seven minutes was all it took for you to swoop in and snatch the lot. ...you may need some kind of intervention  You know how I do. :D I just read about him (and some other collective members) helping another fella sort out his bike. So it seems like it's going to th...

Re: Blue/Gray Rally 4-6 June

Aw man. Just three hours away. But I doubt I'll be walking well enough to ride then. That's just 5 weeks after my knee replacement. Darn it! Y'all have fun. It sounds like a treat! You can be someone’s monkey :D I did that at B.U.R.P. when the Mobile Chernobyl blew a piston. It was quite an enjoyab...

Re: 2006 Patrol

It's a 2006, so it doesn't have the plethora of improvements that came in 2007, it's got some rust, and it's got some "miles" on it ( but that's not necessarily a bad thing with Urals ). Someone added a driving light and Ural emblem to the tub, and a diamond-plate trim piece to the hack fender ( to ...

Re: Blue/Gray Rally 4-6 June

The campground website is: https://smallcountry.com/ Our plan is to reserve three sites for now, with two participants per site, for Thursday evening, 3 June through Sunday morning, 6 June. Of course, individual Uralista can adjust those dates if they plan to arrive on Friday or depart on Saturday. ...

Re: Fuel Light - Worthless

I have a 2019 cT and the indicator has been bullet proof. You may be speaking from a position of ignorance here. The OP's 2016 came with an optical fuel level sensor that would invariably swell under the influence of ethanol fuel, causing it to become inoperable. A group of us ordered aftermarket r...

Re: Fuel Light - Worthless

To my knowledge, the aftermarket glass-lensed optical sensors have been bulletproof.

If you are interested in obtaining one for yourself, here's the relevant thread:

Russian "Hamster" Mono-track "motorcycle"

It's got a Ural tractor saddle ( which, admittedly, was probably used on a number of Soviet products ). https://www.designboom.com/technology/hamyak-atv-all-terrain-mono-tracked-motorcycle-04-12-2021/?fbclid=IwAR0VSF-lSvFTFm8ZIJXmEBNzYBGrLfRRdQtBjLSJVIM-NVmIpIi5KlJ95io Hamyak-All-terrain-Tracked-Mot...

Re: Deep Sump Question

If you bake a cake with it, you need to leave it in the oven longer than the baking directions indicate because the aluminum is considerably thicker than a baking pan.

I believe the forum had a little "glitch" going on for a bit, there. Perhaps JohnBG was performing a software update at the time? Not sure.

Re: Cracked wheels replacement options

Who is selling $160 OEM rims? I just got a dealer quote for 19"-ers with the holes angled for the drum rims and they were a hundred bucks over that! Ouch. Chad, I tried to answer this yesterday but the Quote function wasn't working. I looked up the rims on the AF1 Racing site and the price was $160...
