Re: WTB

It's actually 'Troika', the name of a Russian three-horse carriage, but I now prefer the phrase 'tyraka'.

Re: For Sale - Men's Mesh riding jacket & pants

Bump-stock!

Those may be illegal in the U.S. now, but this riding suit I have for sale is Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms compliant!

Hunnit bucks too rich for your blood? Make me an offer, skinflint! Everything is negotiable!

Re: internal thread spec for handlebar

The handlebar is internally unthreaded from the factory. Are you asking for the internal diameter, so that you can cut your own threads?

My Urals already dispense an oil slick, so that won't be a new gadget. :P

Re: I Bought An RPOC Today

I have great memories of my dad. He was a fantastic father to me and, while I don't regret choosing the Navy as a career, I wish I could have spent much, much more time with him and my mother during the past 26 years. Now that the Patrol is "finished", I no longer document work on it or modification...

Re: I Bought An RPOC Today

Well, I took a detour on the 2001 and got it set up real nice. I've been enjoying it as a "daily driver". I still need to put the Mobile Chernobyl back together, so that's next on the priority list. What slowed that down was the unexpected passing of my father and me helping my mother with his estat...

I believe Tomcatfixer did a thread on this very subject a while back
While I DID do a number of flywheel removal and installation posts, I didn't really mention the Woodruff key. Sorry.

Re: Ideas Please small fuel leak from fuel pump

I've been away from the forum lately tending to both stuff and things, so I'm not as quick with a reference or photo as I typically am, but here's the post to which Mr. Wazzock was referring:

It's about mid-way down the page.

I wasn't able to make it to the JDH, so this set is still available.

Buy a replacement tank. Time is money and this sounds like an expensive project with all of the time you'll have invested.

Re: I inherited a Polaris Ranger UTV

Thank you for the condolences, fellow 'Steeders. My father's health steadily deteriorated after he retired from selling insurance to the point that he just wasn't enjoying life any more. I view his departure as a relief from his unpleasant situation. I'mma miss him, though. Maybe I'm remembering wro...
