Oh, I forgot to post a picture of it. Proof of life more or less! Thanks again.
Did you happen to ride through Newton Illinois on July 2nd? If so the lady attempting to take your picture and yelling “UDF” was my wife.

Re: Quick detach windshield mount.

Tomcatfixer and I both had the same “wear item” wear out way too quickly. I’ve redesigned a more wear resistant piece and it works on my bike. I’ll be sending one to Tomcatfixer to put on his bike to test. Worst case scenario the failure would cause a rattle, but no danger of losing the windshield.

Maybe Mike bought a Ural for Kelly, so the Gaucho wouldn't be so lonely. :D
It was running with 3 trikes that all had trailers. I figure they were on a trip and the trailers had tools and spare parts.

Re: Anyone with round OBD2 plug able to connect with OBDWiz?

There's a thread (https://www.sovietsteeds.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=47343) showing how to connect up to the OBD2 port to sync the throttle bodies. Most of the discussion has focused on the pre-2017 bike with a 6-pin molex OBD plug. Someone did post the pinouts for the round connector on 2017...

Re: Critique this build!

Hi Tim, Without knowing how you intend to ride your bike on/off road it’s hard to give an opinion on the skid plates and light protection. As for the seats and windshields that will be your personal preference as everyone is different. As far as hand shifters for reverse and 2wd, I wouldn’t mess wit...

Re: Argument for full face helmets

I had a full face helmet actually prevent me from crashing. I was meeting a gravel truck and took a rather large rock to the face. The impact “rung my bell” and damaged the helmet (AGV not a cheaply made helmet) badly enough that I had to replace it. I did keep the bike up and was able to safely sto...

Re: Quick detach windshield mount.

Burt, Let me know when you're ready to put one on a cT - I'll drive over - I don't have a shield, but I guess it won't hurt to have the mount on the frame, will it? Matt Part of the mount stays on the bike, the other part attaches to the windshield and the two parts of the mount interface to lock t...

Re: A little mechanical help with a wrecked rig?

It appears that you have an R3W on there as well....may want to remove that for later use if it isn't tweaked too bad..... I think that’s the sidecar upper brace. This looks like the dampener You are correct, I was looking at a different picture where it had apparently been removed already. My bad.
