Re: UralNE fall rally Sept 23 2017

We are out of town that weekend so can't make it this year. Here is the facebook post for the event. The agenda has changed quiet a bit this time. There appears to be two group rides this year for on road and off road. The page might be public so facebook might not be required to view: https://www.f...

It goes on "sale" frequently to about $49. Just give it a few months.

Re: Added A Winch

I added a HF 2500lb about a year ago now (see post: http://sovietsteeds.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=44129&p=549847#p549847 ) I can't say I've really used much. It more of a cosmetic thing than something I'm expecting to get me out of trouble. The "official Ural" winch runs about $389 but if you ...

Re: Relay Change for LEDs in brake and turn lights

I upgraded my 2001 turn signals to LED's last year. I had to change the relay to be LED compatible. This is what I bought. If you do not get an LED compatible relay all 4 turn signals will come on any time left or right is engaged. If you don't want to get a new relay you can just change 2 of the 4 ...

Agreed with Rougaroo. Easiest way is to unscrew the two bolts holding the headlight. I would suggest marking the angel of the headlight with some tape so your not playing around with the height when your done.

I believe that is a type IV. The best person for this would be Gene from Holopaw

Re: :SOLVED: 2016 GU lost a cylinder today. Towtrucks are expensive!

wow, I can't believe that's what happened. You might want to still check the fuel injector on the right side though. Logically speaking the only way this could have happened is if you had combustion during the exhaust cycle or something. The exhaust valve was being forced closed from the cylinder bu...

gobium has a really good video on Youtube on how to test the EFI injector. You should make sure the injector is actually delivering fuel to the cylinder as well.

Also does anyone know if the LEDs for the indicators in the gauge can be changed out for brighter one, I find in sunlight I can't see a single one of them....

Good luck. I think she likes them more than her old doggles but still scratches at them when we're stopped. I'm starting to think my dog hates wearing anything.
