Nice front to the card Card 01.jpg But a special surprise inside: Card 04.jpg Card 02.jpg Card 03.jpg :ch...

Re: The real deal or ? ? ?

Steve, take a very, very, very good look at the bike/ - and no, I am not talking about the airbox -/VIN/documents. Good luck. Just to say.......... I'm not intending/hoping to buy this bike. As far as I'm aware, it's not for sale. Even if it was, if it is what I suspected, it's way above anything I...

Re: The real deal or ? ? ?

This is how a BMW R75 looks. See the differences? Perfect, now move on... :bs: I'm definitely no expert, but having spent the evening on the internet perusing loads of images of WWII R75 sidecar units, everything looks identical. ............ and a few of them without the tank mounted air cleaner, ...

Re: The real deal or ? ? ?

I would try very hard to buy this. The Rim width & Valve Covers & everything else I could see SAY WWII BMW R75. I don't think the wide rims & valve covers Fit Ural Or CJ - Only R75. I got excited just looking. Thanks for sharing, C. I got pretty excited myself when I saw it. I'm no expert and I kno...

The real deal or ? ? ?

So, I'm chatting to a guy and he say's he's got an old BMW sidecar unit in the back of his shed (along with a load of other old motorbikes) The bikes came from his late father and he's never got round to doing anything with them. Apparently, so the story goes, his father got this particular unit fro...

Re: Alternate fuel for ural

I run a Honda EU20 generator on Propane with no problems at all. It's a standard option from Honda

No reason any petrol engine couldn't be converted. Just availability and the practical problems with storage.

Re: Gear oil - yellow

+1 for water down the speedo cable mounting in the gearbox.

Mine did that until I sealed it with silicon. It's still not great but better.

It only takes a surprisingly small amount of water to emulsify oil in to 'cream'
