I'm also told that 1-1.5 degrees of lean on the bike is right for crowned roads in my area. Simple test is to hold a plumb bob against the sidewall at the top of the pusher just behind the axle, and go for about 1" of clearance at the bottom? I have been called compulsive obsessive ... Whatever you do, now that you've got bare metal exposed it will start rusting immediately. Hit it with rust inhibitor/primer like Rustoleum Rust Reformer. I installed the C5 Power Arc kit in my '06 Ural engine. 4,000+ miles and still happy with it; money well spent as far as I'm concerned.

But also bloody expensive in $Aus. This is why we all like to see member's location information posted in their 'signature' line. As close to east asia as you are one would think used Ural parts would be readily accessible. As I mentioned, the exhaust stub on my R75/5 doesn't have many threads left...
