STEERING STEM NUT SIZE

I need to remove the steering stem nut (#40 on the front fork diagram) on my '15 GU and will need to order a new socket.
I can't locate my caliper. Can anyone tell me what size 6-point socket is correct?

WANTED METAL FAIRING FOR '15GU Woodland camo

Wanted to buy the lower part of the metal windshield-fairing. Don't need the upper but would buy if $$ right.
Woodland camo preferred.

Wacked A Tree

My '15 GU rolled away from me into a gully where it hit a large oak. The windshield-fairing is shot but the rest seems repairable (mostly replaceable). Where can I find a parts manual. Other than the ignition switch I need a P/N for the frame part that has "ears" that attach to the headlight bucket ...

Re: 2019 Rear tire flat....

Has anyone installed rim locks on the pusher wheel? Common practice on motorcycles that run off road with lowered pressures.

Re: 2 Into 1 Installation

I finally got around to installing my 2 into 1 high right side exhaust. I didn't have to remove/replace the original studs on my '15 GU. Everything went on smoothly and I'm pleased with the result. We'll see over time how it stands up but at the very least I won't have to wack the left pontoon back ...

Re: Check your rims for cracks.

I believe the some cracks may have little to do with "mileage" as I had cracks on my '15 GU spare that never was on the ground. The rim was 2013 vintage and replaced under warranty

2 Into 1 Installation

Why are new studs included in the Raceway kit? I'd rather not remove/replace the factory studs if it isn't necessary.

Re: Newbie: should I be using the parking brake?

I have an aversion to such things, A. you'll never see a vehicle factory designed to use permanent hydraulic pressure to keep it from rolling away; B. I've had the front tyre not hold on a slope, and that's solos never mind a X00 lbs rig. YMMV http://livinginthepast-audioweb.co.uk/imagex/misc/idunn...

Re: Experience With Winch

substituting a Harbor Freight "Badlands" brand ATV winch. I have the Harbor Freight Badlands 2500 on my 6 wheeler and so far it has done the job. In that case I had to cobble-up all the wiring and controls and thought the Ural kit at URAL NE might be cleaner, but I'd not be comfortable having it mo...

Thanks, I've been a little hesitant as it sounds abnormal, but I trust you two and I'll adopt the method.

Re: Finding neutral and shifting

https://youtu.be/D12FPlZs1es Using this method: I'm in first gear, engine running, clutch disengaged...how much pressure has to be applied to the reverse lever to get the gearbox to go into neutral, and then again into reverse l? Is the repositioning of the reverse lever to 10 o'clock just to allow...

Re: Chattahoochee National Forest Closures

We’ve had the Drainbows invade us several times in Central Orygun. My condolences. To their credit, they did leave the forest in impecable shape via amazingly thorough clean-up crews. That's encouraging. I spend a lot of time in the National Forest and would hate to see it requiring a long time to ...
