How to detach the sidecar?

I've searched the forum, and I know that you can do quite a few things without detaching it completely, but I couldn't find instructions on how to detach it. I have a Bavarian Classic, if it makes any difference.
Thanks!

Re: Russian Motorcycle Turn-Signals

My experience: I have bought on Ebay the cheapest electronic flasher I could find (http://www.ebay.com/itm/281453592943) and 20 LED lights (http://www.ebay.com/itm/401177883321). I have three bikes and I am going to convert them all to LEDs. The lights were not drawing enough power to trigger the fl...

Thanks, I was able to find an electric diagram yesterday evening and it looks like, as you say, it must be connected to the positive.

Bavarian Classic battery wires

Hi, I have a 2000 BC. I have removed the battery two months ago and I am not sure where to connect a third white wire. There are a total of three wires that were connected to my battery, two thick wires (Orange = negative, connected to the frame, White = positive) and a thin white one. I am not sure...

Re: 2000 BC For sale. New alternator, petcock, lines. Extra parts also.

I've bought a month ago a very similar bike (2000 BC) with a similar mileage. No spare wheel, but same conditions and a few parts. Bike from FL, now in CA, so no rust (as no rust as a Ural can be, at least :-) ). It was from a colleague, so I din't feel comfortable negotiating. I've paid $3000 and I...

I've got the rig used, and the battery is held in place by a ty-rap strip, so I dismissed it as normal. In my case, I don't think it's a big issue because I can push the battery back and create some ...

VIN location on a 2000 Bavarian Classic

My insurance is having a hard time finding out a quote for the rig. First they wanted pictures of the bike, then asked for its value. Now they want a picture of the VIN as they can't make sense of the one on the title (XTB264A311...... - omitting the last 6 digits) I was able to locate on the frame ...

Wouldn't the value of the bike (as source for parts) increase in the case of sanctions? :-)

Re: Solutions for rubber boots slipping off the carbs?

Update: I've emailed Raceway and they confirmed that their rings do not fit the carbs of the 650cc :-(
I am glad at work we have a lathe that I can probably use to manufacture some (never done that before though).
Now the problem is to find the aluminum pipe...
Thanks
