2012 Solo for sale in Minnesota - $3750

Not mine and no association with the seller. I am selling a 2012 Ural Solo ST. This is a pretty rare bike, Ural did not import many of these. Their primary focus is on sidecar bikes. This one runs great, and has been very reliable. Has a bit over 8000km on it. I have taken it on a few long trips(100...

Re: Retro fit retro lights?

Coyote did a great write up on this topic! We were both working on this modification at the same time and shared a lot of info. He solved some issues differently than I did but in the end both solutions worked out. He has parts links and a great how to description. Here is his thread. https://www.so...

Re: The ten dollar head

A John Hopkins Medical School study reported in the Journals of the American College of Surgeons showed that riders who are consistent in wearing their helmets are twenty-two percent lesser prone to be victimized with cervical spine injuries and wearing a helmet will prevent them from experiencing m...

Re: Sportster Mufflers

I believe the actual Harley part numbers for mufflers with the proper tab for easy mounting using Ural hardware are 65613-97 & 65605-97. You can use these Emgo adapters with a bit of muffler tape to step the size down to fit the Ural pipes. I hope this is the info you are looking for! https://www.de...

Re: Low cost solutions to the low mufflers?
Those fleabay mufflers are 1.75 ID at the header, so they'd need an adapter, right? Seems to me the stockers are 1½" ...
I used one wrap of Tiger Patch on the 1-3/8 OD header pipe to get a tight seal with the smallest of the adapter collars into the 1-5/8 inside diameter straight pi...

Re: Low cost solutions to the low mufflers?

I remember that discussion , but WHICH Rush Racing Product are these? I don't see a "heading" on their webpage. https://www.rushracingproducts.com/ Here are the specs from the eBay listing when I purchased them. Rush Slip On Mufflers 1.75" Straight Cut Rush P/N 62-0623 New Wrinkle Black Fits: 2007-...

Re: Ural Winch Project

There was a set-up I saw years ago on a Wrangler (a real Wrangler, not the 4-door Soccer mom Jeep I drive now) that had the usual front mount winch. But it was lifted and the owner had rigged a series of open steel loops down the underside of the vehicle with a pully/wheel at the other end. That wa...

Here is a short video of a winter ride with the Rush Racing Products mufflers installed so you can hear the sound and compare with the stock exhaust.

Re: Low cost solutions to the low mufflers?

My 2012 Gear Up has the stock giant mufflers and they are absolutely destroyed on the bottom from dragging them on literally everything on the trails. Does anyone have any low cost solutions to moving or eliminating them? I've already tried rotating them so they point slightly upwards, but that onl...

Re: Adventure tablet?

Wow! GREAT info, 737AV8OR!! Yes, I'm just starting to explore all the mapping options now that we'll have something big enough for old, tired eyes to see! Up until now, we've been content with Google Maps and downloaded areas for offline use, but I'm looking forward to adding topo info to our explo...

Re: Adventure tablet?

Well, one son has an iPhone, and another an iPad, and I can't stand either one, (the apple crap, not the sons!) Nope, I'm tickled that, A-It's android like all our phones, and B-it's only $150. Now that I know I can tether via Bluetooth for 4G, it will be a perfect addition to camp life on th...

SOLD - Raceway Ural Reverse Shifter - New in box! $175+Shipping.SOLD

I have decided to go with a dual shifter for reverse and 2WD so I'm selling this new in the box shifter from Raceway. As the invoice shows I paid $235 but am selling for $175. My loss is your gain. Buyer pays actual shipping costs from Saint Paul, Minnesota - 55104. IMG_3568(2).jpg IMG_3569.jpg IMG_...

Re: Added Headlight Mirrors Today

A quick review of my new mirrors. I am quite happy with them overall. I was worried about vibration but these things are rock solid at all speeds up to and including hiway speeds with no vibration issues. The left mirror gives me a greater view of the the rear of the cycle and an adequate view to th...

Re: Front Bumper and Winch

I really love the "real bumper!" I did a similar mount to the front of the tub but I really like how yours turned out. Very cool setup. Here's a couple of shots of how I did it with a very similar RT-15.
