Re: 2007 Tourist - dies at idle

If it is just at idle and you can stop and hold it open a bit and it will stay running,,,maybe someone messed with your idle screw..idle it up a bit and see what the RPM's are....Blue Ox productions has a video on setting the Idle by RPM's with a test light.

Just another suggestion

Re: value question

I thought when clicking this thread it would be a question on resale value in general....from what I seen, do not look for getting to much from it.. (but ,,Maybe you can..not trying to discourage) you would think with the number of hipsters growing and the Ural popularity, and new (from 2010-^) pric...

Re: Perfect Bag for First-Aid Box

No need for a first aid kit on my tourist "street racer". But I do have an absorbent Panty Liner taped around my F.D. universal joint - to catch grease slung from my recent lube job. Big MESS other wise. :rotfl: Guess that is childish of me to laugh,,,but "Street Racer" oh and the panty liner...

Re: aaarrrggghhh!!!

I was followed for 4 miles home once, pulled in my driveway opened the garage and was reaching for the back-up bat, when he stepped out the car... I enjoy UDF, most of the time, and usually impute harmless intentions to those who approach me about the rig. That said, I do try to maintain Condition ...

Re: aaarrrggghhh!!!

I was followed for 4 miles home once, pulled in my driveway opened the garage and was reaching for the back-up bat, when he stepped out the car and was in Army uniform....he asked a couple questions and I asked him " You really want to know about a Ural?" "Get in the Sidecar"...took him for a ride a...

Re: 95' Ural 650 Project -- Mothra35

But to answer the question, it will have a custom title . Louisiana must be more generous with custom/reconstructed titles than New Jersey and most other states. What it would cost here to get a custom/reconstructed title would far exceed the value of a 1995 Ural solo, no matter how much "lipstick"...

Re: 95' Ural 650 Project -- Mothra35

I may have missed it, but do you have a title for the frame? That would certainly be a deciding factor for me, whether or not it's fixer or a parts donor. Happy trails, Jaybird :lurker: Happy trails, Jaybird Do you or did you have a 95 stolen or know of one in the south east? If so Ill give you the...

Re: 95' Ural 650 Project -- Mothra35

Re: Soviet Steeds Hall of Fame

DaveO is missed, he was a SS Pin Pal to me, some how we started a conversation that just kept going, didn't know him personally, but knew his personal stuff...think he just needed a neutral guy to vent to,,,and teach a Life Lesson to. Love the one's you have, be grateful for the things you got. :che...
