Re: new goldwing

My 1st wife wouldn’t ride on my Harley so I bought a new 1200 GW. Put 76,000 miles on it in two years. It was like driving a car with the windows down. Very comfy to be sure. We split and it was the first thing to go.

Re: Tire Failure on the Interstate!

No one stopped? Doesn’t surprise me any longer. We’re on our own out there for the most part nowadays.

Re: Learning every day!

Rarely used my 2WD but the times I needed it I was very happy I had it. If after my upcoming surgery I’m able to ride a Ural again, I’ll definitely be getting a 2WD model.

Been seeing things about something happening on the 4th but think it’s more hype than anything else.

Re: Anybody with a Spirit Lake Indian near Woodbridge VA?

I thought I read it correctly. They need a bike like yours to make the pattern. You stated you'd ricde it out there but you are injuried. I offer to ride it out there for you. Offer still stands. I'm in Texas. Doesn’t need to go to Jersey. There is no way I’ll turn over my bike to someone I’ve neve...

Just a curious question.

YMMV
Thanks for the suggestion but that does me no good.

First off, the company that makes it needs a Bike to to be able to make a pattern. They are in VA, and secondly, I am currently unable to ride.

Again, thanks for your thoughtful suggestion.

Anybody with a Spirit Lake Indian near Woodbridge VA?

I am wanting to get a Lap Robe made for my Indian Chief. I contacted Langlitz which made the one for my Gear up but they declined. I found a company in Woodbridge VA that can custom make one for me (they currently produce them for Harley Police Bikes) but they need a bike to be able to lay out the p...

I noticed the hack is on the left side. I wonder if he bought it from that outfit out of Poland or wherever they are?

Lmo +1. I hate it when name calling comes into a forum. You state your position and then you are chastised. That's the Internet. On SS forum, there is history of new member antagonize old member versersa. We need to re watch more Leave it to Beaver re run. The new guys need to take on the MC tradit...

Just my opinion. You like it, that’s all that matters. Someone else doesn’t, tell to “Move along”. Their opinion was not asked for and isn’t wanted.

Re: "hey, do you ride at all or just work on Ural?"

When I had mine I rode it.

28,000 Kms in two years. I tinkered it with but it was a dependable machine.

I may be coming back.

About a year and a half ago, I sold my 13 Gear Up due to no longer being able to bend my right leg enough to ride it. I bought an Indian Springfield and love it but have missed my Ural. Several things related to my right leg issue have transpired since and I am now scheduled for a surgery that might...
