Re: Ural Factory Windshield or other...?

...... By the way: the sidecar windshield funnels a whole lot of wind into the drivers face. I decided to use a Birkland screen for the sidecar. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1774/44021958831_cfcbeb157e_k.jpg IMG_1913 by atlasheating , on Flickr The factory W/S-fairing is also a handy place to add...

Re: For sale, "The Predator" yes that right the Predator.

Well Dave, the new Rock Crawler is certainly impressive. However, there won't be any othe Rock Crawlers out there for company. Or if there is one, it will be few and far between. No Ural can do what your new machine can do. As a matter of fact, very few machines can match it in any way. It may mean ...

Re: Solo pick up truck loading

..... A "toy hauler" would be the best of both worlds if there was an affordable and wide enough model out there. But $$$$! -Jesse There are some small Toy Haulers out there. I have been looking at 14' to 17' feet ToyHauler, used, good condition. I'm not getting one yet, the correct truck comes fir...

Re: Music, Men ... ?

Your mustache has shrunk a bit over the years. I shaved it off when I noticed there was more "mustache" than hairs on the top of my head. I had 2 of the Ruger SA 357s for Cowboy Action Shooting. I don't remember why I took the photo with Ruger, but there must have been some reason...dunno. YMMV

Re: Music, Men ... ?

That these guys are talented goes without saying. Baritone horn here; now all we need is a slushpump, and couple of trumpets and we'd have Brass Choir Music since I was 6 y.o. Symphonic Trumpet for a billion years, also stage stuff, Oktoberfest, and similar.... I have 3 silver trumpets, but can onl...

Re: Riding a Gobi home to the High Desert

Nope, wasn't mine as I never went to SOUR. I did however camp next you to at the Eugene Ural several years back. Still, like the idea of wandering over to I-dee-ho and checking things out. Probably have to wait until next year as this year is just nuts. At best, I may get a long weekend trip. Gee, ...

Re: Solo pick up truck loading

I don't use a PU-Truck, I have a trailer. That said, I vote NO on wood ramps unless you screw a 2x4 (or similar) vertical along one edge (lotsa screws!) to provide a counter-bend-strength length. This worked for an ATV going in standard truck bed. Now, solo loading Ural up pretty steep metal gate-ra...

Hey Peter Sagerat!!! :boogie: I am happy to see you get a new Gobi! (Well, new to you anyway, that counts in my book!) :D I remember keeping your old green one on battery power at SOUR a few years ago. I still sort of miss those old SOUR gatherings. Whatever, Congrats on your new machine! Com...

Re: New (to me) Ural

Howdy all! My husband and I picked up a 2014 Ural Gear Up on Sunday 22 JUL 18. Rode her home from Phoenix to Benson, AZ (about 180 miles or so) and had an absolute blast. Other than the fact it was hot as Hades. Lots of strange looks and folks waving/honking. My God Daughter rode the whole way home...
