Re: Wow! An Electric Ural prototype!!!

It is great to see Ural thinking in a modern way. Here's a direct link https://www.imz-ural.com/electric An electric Ural won't be for everyone. It looks to be one wheel drive, probably to save weight and increase range. Although the 103 mile range will be a deal breaker for many. It would work for ...

Re: Latest on the Elio!

I doubt anyone is making things difficult for Elio except the founder himself.
The longer is goes the more it remind me of the bricklin and delorean.
Gotta give them credit for big balls to continue this charade for 3-4 years now.
The claimed mpg and selling price are pure BS. Yet the scam continues.

Re: Rider magazine Gear-Up article

I liked when the lady author said there is no ABS on the Ural.
Then she got stuck in sand and from the comments on that and others, it is obvious she hasn't much sidecar seat time.
If you have no clue about a product, why would you try to evaluate the product?

Re: Wanted Keihin Carb

I would think that any CVK 32 would work and you would just need to properly jet it. They were used on a number of ATVs as well as late model Triumph. Check fleabay. many many variations of the cvk 32-very few are the same different slides, different tops hard to find for a Ural try this place, the...

Re: Elio Motors Update - Pay as You Go

the Elio will never be purchased for the claimed 6800 bucks, in my opinion.
The price (if it ever actually built) will be ten thousand at least, probably more.
Buyers will get a happy pep talk full of all sorts of reasons why it couldn't be done.

one thing I'll do is stop expecting people to be decent and respectful
if I want to be around a horse's rear, I'll go to a farm
enjoy the new one, I'm sure it'll be fun

Re: So I drove the Ural today

don't push the recovery
the chest muscles and cartilage they chain sawed through will take a while to heal (more than 4 weeks)
so go easy on the pushing and lifting
but it does feel so good to be back on the road
