I would like to buy a sidecar bumper and a sidecar tail light if you have them.

Re: Any dealings with ural-dnepr.ru ?

"LMO: I measured the distances between the grommets and they aren't the same on my Dnepr tub." I took the windshield off my '11 Gear Up and put it on my AdvGS with the Dnepr tub and it fit perfectly. This makes me wonder if the windshield they offered you would fit even a Ural. It might make a bette...

Re: WTB URAL TUB

Agree with all of the above Insubordinator. Love my Ural so much it is time to add more three wheel thrills. My sub frame for the 1150 GS Adv will come from Claude Stanley who will do the set up including his anti sway bar. I could live with the differences between trunk access behind seat and the U...

Re: Tail of the Dragon, Blue Ridge Parkway, Lucky escape...

Just heard about your accident from a fellow member. So glad to hear that both of you are alright. I can only imagine what your experience was like and how grateful you must be not to have injured Teagan. Best of luck for a full restoration of your riding spirit and for a shiny new '15 Patrol to rep...

WTB URAL TUB--FOUND IT, THANKS

Anyone know of a Ural tub with sidecar frame in good shape near NC area? Let me know as I am about to 3 wheel my GS Adv. Thanks, Jim (offroad)

PS: While we're at it, any ideas about using a Dnepr tub and frame as an alternative?

Re: My Ural Retro Mobility Scooter

Your smile says it all, Doug.
Some rigs are dusty 2wd, while others are shiny and beautiful, but the smile of fun loving people is consistent. Great to have you in the Brotherhood (and Sisterhood). If you ride in this direction, let us know and we'll plan a ride.

Re: "Zen" and Russian motorcycle maintenance ...

Read Zen and Now by Richardson last month which rekindled interest in reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance once again. Well worth a second look now that 40 years have passed since first read. ZMM was better the second time around. My brother sent me a copy of the Guidebook to ZMM , just...

Re: New Helmet Recommendations

Try on the Nolan N104 if you like modulars. If it fits you right you will probably like its features. After reading about the need to replace helmets over time, I am on my third Nolan in 15 years and probably will stay with them because of their engineering which I like better than others that are c...

Re: My new chemo look...

That's a good look, John. I got mine the slow way, but as Dad used to say, "Now I can comb my hair with a washcloth".
If that aerodynamic mod helps with the Ural's speed, let me know. I still have a little on the side that could be sacrificed on the altar of a faster Gear UP.

Re: Tommy Chong. Gotta love him!

Tommy's book on his bust for selling bongs is funny and sad at the same time. Sad to see so many talented non violent people incarcerated while those convicted of violent crime are back on the street because of prison overcrowding. 'Makes the history of pot prohibition from its wide availability pri...
