Re: Sidecar alignment

quick question on this topic. lately my 08 Patrol has a "headshake when coming to a stop (3 or 4 mph). Checked tires and wheels, all good. Can this be caused by sidecar being out of alignment? I need to get an angle meter to test it .

Pulling right side head

Here's the culprit! It was on end of hot wire at solenoid ( positioned @ 3 o'clock looking at solenoid end)

Re: Mounting a winch....thinking about a remote battery

Back in the 1980's I ran a big lawnmower battery, mounted in an acid proof boat box, in my NEVAL-DNEPR trunk. This was before they made AGM batteries for bikes. The Dneprs trunk wasn't good for much-as it could only be accessed by removing the seat back. I also felt it would be good ballast. NOW IM...

Check Hubert on this . He had a post listing his gear . One item I got from his list was a long wool sweater made in Sweden by "wool power"works great, long enough to sit on riding.

Re: Maine Camp of the Dead 2014

im thinking Of riding my Retro. it has zero for luggage space, so I gotta come up with something quick, hence being non-commital at this point. Anyhow, I will do my best to bring something of interest and merit. Popcorn, somemores, caviar? Bourbon?
