Fuel Light - Worthless

My 2016 fuel low light indicator light is pants. Never worked. I paid for an upgrade to the new module and had dealer fit it. Waste of money, worked for a short while. When it did work it was on off on off as the fuel reduced. Then just packed up. I'm back to counting clicks. Complete waste of money...

Re: Reverse Shifter wanted

Whilst I love the reverse shifter. I have noticed that the lever will travel further on once reverse has been selected. Would be nice if it locked out when reverse was engaged.
Anyone else have this experience or does yours lock out?

Re: Reverse Shifter wanted

So here is the rig finished for now. The Raceway Shifter went on without having to remove the tank. Just lifted it up at the back a bit. It should have come with instructions really, that may have helped a bit. But notwithstanding that what a brilliant piece of kit. Fits my EFI a treat and is simply...

Re: Reverse Shifter wanted

Ok, so I bottled it and have a Raceway shifter which is enroute across the pond to me. In my defence I will post photos of my DIY floorboards, HD seat mount system and chopped up luggage rack from an R1200GSA which takes a BMW ally box and will sit behind my HD seat as soon as they are back from pai...

Polisport Nomad Handguards

Hello all I decided to replace the flimsy handguards on my 2016 Ural. I picked these ones as I saw them on a Ural site in France. Came in around £35 Took some dremel work to removed some plastic to allow cables on both side of the bars to move freely. However in my view they are still plenty strong ...

Re: Why the HD Police Seat

Eric - Very helpful indeed and I see what you mean about offsetting the width of the seat. I would have ploughed on with the HD Spring, so that's saved me some graft. Big old seat when viewed next to the tractor seat!! I'll post photos off how I end up doing this. Thanks

Re: Why the HD Police Seat

Here's the seat I'm replacing Nothing up with it actually, its quite comfy to be fair. But I have fancied this conversion for such a long time. And you know what its like when you get that itch. Don't see too many of these in the UK so when one popped up for sale under an hour away. Well, you just g...

Re: Why the HD Police Seat

So bought the seat today and got it home, its a big SOB in real life :) It came with the HD mounting brackets and a spring which is adjustable and I guess fits to the bracket. You guys mentioned you ditched a lot of the crap. In favour of two simple springs either side of the seat at the rear. Anyon...

Why the HD Police Seat

Hey all I see that the HD Police seat conversion is popular state side. I just wondered why this particular seat? I mean if Harley guys are buying their bikes and ditching the seat for an aftermarket seat does that make the seat not any better than what we have? Just wondered, as its a MOD I fancy b...

Re: Left Valve cover leak?

Thanks all. I was surprised that the cover bolt came loose. Also glad the rig let me know I was gonna lose the cover by pi$$ing oil everywhere. Got some replacement cork ones on the way and going to use some Hylomar Blue to help keep the gasket in place when I refit. As it looks a real pain otherwis...

Oil leak - left Valve Cover

Hello Noticed I have a bit of a leak on the left. Think its coming from the valve cover. A quick check with a 12mm and I would say the bolt was not tight (2016 Tourist). Question is do I just tighten it up and hope for the best? Don't want to crack the cover. If I take the cover off can the gasket b...
