Broke Speedo Cable

My speedo quit so I ordered a new one along with a replacement cable. I wanted the new speedo to have the actual mileage so I followed advice in the forum to attach a drill and spin it up. When I did the drill ran it up to about 75 mph and the numbers began spinning. Slllllloooooowoowwwllllllyyyyyy....

Speedometer Will Not Exceed 50

The speedometer on my 2010 Gear Up will not exceed 50. At first I thought it was a lube issue as it had been a while since I oiled it so I pulled the cable to drip in some oil. As I did it quickly disappeared so I knew that something else was up. Sure enough, the cable sheath was paunched about 2 in...

Re: Crawford Sales Co.

A satisfied customer tells nobody while a dissatisfied customer will tell anyone who will listen. This is the bane of the retail operation. Since purchasing my 2010 Gear-Up and then later my 2007 Wolf, I have had occasion to reach out to several Ural dealers, including Terry, for assistance, parts, ...

Re: Pellet rifles

I had a gray squirrel problem and one lazy male cat who couldn't catch a cold in winter. To solve the problem I bought a .25 cal Benjamin Trail NP X1. It came with a Center Point scope that was an absolute POS. It did not hold accuracy after sighting it in so I complained and they sent a replacement...

Re: Do you Push or Pull

When I first got my Gear-Up, steering was a bear and it was eating up the front tire. An adjustment by Bill fixed that. Since then, it has steered much easier and the tires wear evenly. The steering requires push and pull depending on conditions and I notice my trapezius muscles fatiguing on long ri...

Front Tool Bag for Wolf

Looking for advice from Wolf owners. I've been thinking about putting a tool bag on the front to get it tool roll out of my saddle bag. Most sites list what bags fit specific bikes. Anyone found one that fits well on a Wolf?

Re: Russian haters ....

Never had that sort of problem with people whom own different brands of motorcycles. In fact, the only issue I ever had was a guy who was critical of my "outdated" leather gear. Yup, BMW owner.

Re: First Aid Kits - are you packing?

The video was excellent. One very important thing in it was the first responders duty to protect themselves. Notice at the end he was donning gloves. These should be part of every first aid kit AND need to be replaced regularly. They deteriorate over time and will rip when you try to put them on.

I either pack a 45 ACP or a 44 Magnum.
