Re: Am I just a cheap a$$?

After the joy I had with the M70, I am doing ALL the servicing on the GearUp by myself. If it needs to go to a dealer, it will be something that is not on my dime and I will be damned picky here I take it. JohnR, need a filter, I'll gladly send you one... have plenty...

Re: RPM for 2019 (and Max Speeds in a Given Gear)

all I'll say on the what speed to ride a new one is, these ain't your old Ural. Mine goes like stink, for a Ural. Routinely pass folks going uphill with a head wind. Have not been in the way on her yet. Kinda of miss that... My Retro now feels quaint. Have 3K on my '19, if it makes it to 7K without ...

Re: Lost my ride buddy today

So sorry. Sitting in my office with my 3 stooges, just hugged all 3 of them. We spend more time with our dogs than we do most people.

Re: BURP 2019

Aw, I didn't see the section from the gas station / restaurant with my antics ( flying the chair past the cop, etc. ). Video card ate rear video in that section, ticked me off. Even bought software to recover lost video, waste of money. Was using my spare video card, know why it was spare now. Can ...

On the new one, if I press down on the reverse shifter it sometimes comes on. Retro? Works every time...has since new...go figure...shoot, Myrtle's even works in reverse! (it's supposed to newbies, old Ural)

Re: BURP 2019

Rains every time I go anywhere on the new GearUp, guess what I am riding, sorry. Anyone riding up or through Georgia? Think I am leaving some time Thursday, taking my time, get there some time Friday, early, or forget to stop and wander in late Thursday or something like that... I behave and do time...

Re: 2018 Retro Limited Edition, Overview, Ural of New England

I saw this rig in person, it is magnificent. I could have been talked into leaving the GearUp and taking it instead, but my Retro would have gotten jealous...can't have that... James, outside of the tires, bumpers and sidecar mirror, what else made that rig pop at you like that? Just curious as I w...

Re: Can Jeep push an Ural?

Lola is soooo good. Lola never leave the tub without permission. Safety issues when towing j$$p. Like stopping? I pull my big "3 ATV/1 big sidecar rig" trailer behind the Sportsman from time to time. Starting no problem. Just gets fun when it is time to stop and it just kinda slows down and the tra...

Re: 2014 Rebuilt Gearbox - $800

Wish I could afford this, Retro's tranny has 108K on it, gears all lapped in nicely, sure shafts are all shot...oh well...bump for Darrell. This is a good deal, someone jump on it. Just pay him $300 a month for 3 months That is a thought, just bought the rockers, so my parts allotment for the month...
