Re: Question for Power Arc owners on when to use it

I run those in both of my Urals and love them. The "advance" or base mode is the stock Ducati ignition curve. The "retarded" mode is ~ 2 degree. When ungrounded the timing curve has been modified (retarded) from the base mode for engine running under loaded conditions. The addition of a VOES [vacuum...

Albert Einstein . . . “I believe that the abominable deterioration of ethical standards stems primarily from the mechanization and depersonalization of our lives,a disastrous byproduct of science and technology. Nostra culpa!” (Latin - our fault is limitless)

Re: Custom Tub for Doggies

You may have to weld the 2 cars together if you keep rescuing/adopting dogs between posts. Those Pups sure are cute big babies. You are really spoiling them. Good on you. yeah, owner's husband is a specialist and was assigned. going to foster them for the family until they return - thay could not t...

Re: Custom Tub for Doggies

bike.jpg mastiff tub.jpg Snakeoil and Stagewax - per request. Here is the new design that allows more room to sit comfortably, move about, and actually lay down. This design fits them much better - Mastiffs are a bit larger and was more of a challenge. Lot of work for layout and weight distribution...

Custom Tub for Doggies

I had posted this for sale a while back and even though there were quite a few responses, it still is here waiting for a new owner. Figured might be time to post it again for some of the newer foilheads that may be interested in something like this for their pups. Perfect time of the year for a nice...

Sean Dampner on Standard Forks

Anybody adapt Seans dampner system to standard BC forks ?
Looks like i could do it, just wondering about the compressed and extended length issue if i would use the pinch bolt on the fork tree.

Thoughts ?

You also have to take into consideration the cost of insurance for the customers. Go into your insurance policy and click on your car / truck / bike to be used for "business purposes" and check out the new premiums ! Believe me, when you are taking in regular joe's off the street for a ride in your ...

Re: Negotiating Skills

NO matter how you look at it, it is still a 1988 vehicle. If it was a super duper limited model, or something truly special, it is only worth that to someone that wants to pay for that specialty. If some old lady in a Buick hits you while you out on a sunny day, you only get what a 1988 Sammy is wor...

Wife Started Spring Cleaning - Banished me to the garage !

Yeah, She got an early start this year. Last weekend, she said she going to start the upstairs. I don't know about others, but when the wife says "stay out of my way - go to the garage and build something", well, I did just that. (got to keep the wife happy) Have a lift in the garage for my auto cra...

WTB - SIDECAR TRUNK LID ASSEMBLY

Searching for a Ural trunk lid to install on an old Dnepner sidecar that does not have one.

Working on my next project and wife wants to keep an easy access trunk for her "stuff".

Let me know what you got.
