Kendon Dual Rail Standup trailer FOR SALE $1800 - SOLD!

(Edited to add photo of winch) We have our Kendon Dual Rail trailer up for sale. This trailer is a perfect fit for Urals - we've used it for several years now but our new bike doesn't fit so we need to let it go. I have added a manual winch onto the tongue so that you don't have to ride, or push, th...

Re: Intermittent starting issue

I talked to Ski on Tuesday and he recommended looking at a connector on the back of the alternator - it's usually the problem when the alternator light doesn't light up. I wiggled all the wires around and it's been starting up okay so I made sure all the connectors are tight!

Intermittent starting issue

I've got an intermittent issue with my 2006 Tourist: When I turn the key on, I hear a relay click, but none of the dash lights turn on, and the starter button does nothing. I then turn the key off, crank the engine with a kick or two of the kick starter, then turn the key on, the relay clicks, and t...

Re: Yes a Ural can Iron Butt !!!

...upon hearing Ural said "ah they're all a POC." I ride with our local PAtriot Guard group. A couple of years ago we were doing a July 4 parade and it was in the high 90s - our Ride CAptain rides a Gold Wing all tricked out with extra lights and a huge sound system and during the pre-ride briefing...

My wife uses the tub's tonneau cover - we leave it attached at the windshield and she just wraps it over her legs and lap as needed.

Re: Attention Newly Registered Members!

Also if anyone in the SF Bay Area would ever want to show me the ropes, either riding technique wise, or mechanically, I would certainly be down for that. In the mean time, I'm studying up with the yellow book. Cheers! Micah Hi Micah! Two suggestions for you: 1. Stop by TriQuest in Santa Clara - Sk...

Re: Front Brakes What is this?

With the disc brake, when you apply the brake while moving forward the arm is placed in tension - the braking action tries to stretch the arm. When in reverse the arm is placed in compression - in compression it will bend easily.

...I'm not up on suzukis but isn't the marauder an 800cc? Be cheaper in the long term to just hang a chair to the suz. I had a 2007 Suzuki Boulevard C50T - 805cc engine. Before I got the Ural I looked into putting a sidecar on the Suzuki and was told by several people that I was looking in the $12K...

Yeah - when we do a parade with a bunch of Harleys they love to rev their engines - I try but it just isn't the same!
