Hand grips?

Thinking of getting new hand grips for my 2010 Gear Up. Would like something fatter than the stock ones which I think are IMO cheap. What diameter would fit and what would be a good recommendation? Thanks!

Air, fuel, spark...

The golden triangle of the basics of troubleshooting your engine... After 83,000 plus klicks I replaced my Maintained K & N E-2470 reusable air filter. It was just time... What a difference with my new one! She’s definitely showing better performance and better acceleration. Just all around more res...

Re: This place is going downhill

I refuse to answer about the state of my Ural on the grounds it may jinx me... I ride early in the a.m., it’s usually semi cool out. I head out to back country roads before the downtown city traffic picks up. I average 100 to 150 miles and try to be back home between 10:30-11:00 a.m. as by th...

Look under that mat in your sidecar...

Check under the mat from time to time. It’s a rust breeding ground... some sanding, priming, & painting in my future...
Oh what fun... :sarcasm:

Re: Oil filter upgrade installed on my 2010 Gear Up

Today I went on a 150 mile ride to see if the new system was fine. All seems OK!
My MPG was a little poor than usual but I did run her harder than most times.

The Evil Dreaded Rear Brake Light Switch

I got the longest run on an Evil Dreaded Rear Brake Switch (20,000 kms+) but the Demon of the underworld has surfaced once again to spread its evil curse upon my 2010 Gear Up and crapped out. Luckily I always have spares of the evil device of the Devil. By design grease and dirt get in the plunger o...

Re: Limited Number of Clicks Per Visit

Just for grins let’s see if it’s on your end. With Mac, update your software. If that doesn’t do it try using Firefox instead of Safari. If that doesn’t do it I’ll contact,” Fearless Leader” (JohnBG) and see if there’s a bug on the forum server side.

Re: Big Beemer Boxer (1800cc)

I was looking at BMW's video on this with the, "Hipsters" riding them. That's the target market although I don't know if the Hipsters have the dough for a BMW Crusier? One thing mentioned is that there is an optional electric reverse feature. Didn't say if it Starter driven or a separate motor? Now ...
