Re: Funny or WTF photo thread

When I was a kid, I worked at a service station, remember those? we used to put split rims under the hoist when we inflated them. They weren't going anywhere when they were pressed to the floor under the lift.

Re: Osteoarthritisis pain?

CBD ointment from your local head shop. CBD is the component of cannabis that doesn't get you high.
Just rub it on the affected area.

I have one of those too! I bought it at Ramco soon after buying my rig. I've been meaning to paint it white to match my bike.

Re: Welding, Welders, and Welding Projects

The engineering school I went to required that I become a certified welder before I could graduate. It came in handy on my first ship as a cadet engineer. We had a weld fail on a 1200 lb feedwater line. The chief engineer was reluctant to continue the voyage with only one feed pump. Though they coul...

Re: What's everyone doing to pass the time in isolation?

I retired from steam boat engineering not long ago and my wife is a math professor for a local college, she has been teaching online for a few years, so nothing has changed for us. Our home is in an isolated community about a twenty minute drive to the store. We generally shop once a week, it's not ...

Re: Funny or WTF photo thread

I've had two labs, a black lab and my current dog, a yellow lab. Neither of them ate their toys. The black one had a toy box, she would take a toy out, play with it and then put it back when she was done. We didn't teach her that, she just started doing it. The yellow lab just drops the toy when, he...

I use Mobil 1 20W-50 for V twins in the engine and gearbox, 80W-90 in the final drive and sidecar sun gear. I haven't had to top off the shock oil, but 10 weight sound about right.

I would bolt it up dry also. If you have to put anything on it, use copper anti seize.
