Just Checking In

It's been a little over a month since I officially left Ural NW. I have been going to tech school for process technology which leads to a career operating an automated plant like water or waste water treatment or a refinery. While in school full time, I have also been working via internship at a loc...

Re: Fun Fact Oldest Ural Dealer

I'm pretty sure Stephen started Ural NW in 1994 or 1995. I'll have to ask him the next time I see him. I know he was selling them when it was CMSI and there was a young kid named Jason working there. I would definitely consider Gene one of the originals though and an amazing guy and I have only met ...

Re: Not a Ural, but who doesn't want one?

He was stationed in AK and it was the bike he rode as a soldier. If you want to count Uncle Sam as #1, then I guess he is the 2nd owner.

Re: battery activation Question.

Typically the factory activated batteries are a higher output than the comparable one that is shipped dry. They should be date stamped as well. If you get one from a reputable high volume seller, you should get a fairly new factory activated battery, instead of one from a hole in the wall shop that ...

SHOCKING!?!?

This appeared in our shop. Would you ride it? Rumor has it that it is capable of 80mph, unknown range and build cost north of $30k over many years! We haven't had it on the road yet and neither has the owner. We were installing new tires and brake pads, and updating the final drive from the original...

Re: Salvage patrol

Update! We may be getting this bike rather than it going to auction. If this becomes the final deal, it will be for sale as a whole bike. We will pull the fenders out and replace the handlebar. If you are interested PM me. I will update the thread with a price when we actually have the deal finalize...

Salvage patrol

Someone may be able to get an amazing deal on this bike. It is a 2010 Patrol that was recently wrecked and totaled by the insurance company because the frame is ben down about 3/4" behind the left rear shock. The fenders and tub have a little damage and the handlebars are bent badly. The reason this...

Re: 2010 sT

Yes this has always been a solo. We sold it new and it was ridden on some dirt roads and he liked the look of the knobbies. They are 18"wheels so not the heavy sidewall tires you get at the 19" size. Doesn't handle very well as a 2 wheeler with them, but once it has 3 it will be fine. I'd like to se...

Should be a 360 motor. Had 1 in my Durango and it pulled my 20' travel trailer fine, just used a lot of fuel, about 8mpg

2010 sT

Just got in as a trade. $2500 before we service it. 33k km, bags, crash bars, small windshield. We will be putting this through the service department in the next week or so and the retail price will be a bit higher after we add the cost of the service. I would at least change out the tires, they ar...

Re: who are these people!

IMWA has training classes every year at the dealer meetings and throughout the year, most any time a dealer wants a refresher or specific training IMWA is willing to have them spend the day with Sergei. As most of you have found out, hands on experience is the best teacher when it comes to working o...
