I would make it fit onto a fender rack and mount it so the bar goes beside the shovel. If the rack didnt break, the center tire nut thingy would strip fast I think.

As far as I know, there arent any tires for the Ural that have the snowflake symbol on them. Maybe contact the Quebec Ural dealer?

If you look at Hubert Kriegels website he has done part of Africa on his Ural. He had some ramps made to assist him in the soft sand.

I have found flying the chair up high well going over speed bumps can leave marks.

Your owners manual should say the size of altenator in the specs (I think its 50A@14.4V). Amps x volts = watts. You would need to know what size (in watts) you would be getting. You could also put your lights on a on-off-on switch so they couldnt be turned on at the same time.
