Re: New Toy

Just moved up to a zero turn Scag from a Husky rider. even tho they are both 48" I reduced my mowing time by an hr. on 3 ac full of trees and I'm still getting used to operating it.
You will love that Cub.

Re: How many of us are active hams?

Sorry for being away for so long. Updated my license to Extra, and changed my call to WO6Y. Also, added an ATAS 120A behind the tub, 2m/70cm mag mount to the rear fender, and an 857D. It's not mounted on the rig yet, but I operate it on the nose of the sidecar with excellent results for such a comp...

Re: Deltran Battery Tender Product Support

I too am loyal to Deltran. I've three Tenders in inventory, presently. There's an easy fix for the Juniors, if or when the capacitor craps out. To me, that guy tattooed an"L" on his forehead when he talked about the cam chain on a HD Sportster.

Re: Gun Safety - Sig P938 (Moved)

I agree with stagewex. Go to the dealer cause something isn't correct. My EDC is a Sig P365 with the standard 10 round and the opt. 12 round and they all work perfectly. Yours should too !

Re: Someone on Mulholland Hwy on GearUp Sunday 1/12/20

I think I might remember that rider from around 2012. I went to a MC show at a BMW dealer in Ventura county where I lived before retirement. I had a packet of promo stuff I got from Little Urbit sitting in the chair that got a lot of attention from a guy and his wife. We chatted for awhile and I kne...

Any 'weapon' you carry in your back pack is essentially worthless.

Re: Adventure tablet?

Well, Barb went and looked at tablets. Sam's and Best Buy have the 10" Samsung Tab A 32gb for $160-ish. It's the wifi only one, so no 3G-4G connection, but I'm used to downloading all the different maps I'd need for a trip, with all the different map apps I use. Says it has GPS, too. I have that sa...

Re: Open face helmet, or full face ....

You might look cool in a vintage helmet, goggles and a mask.
But not so cool with no nose or chin.....

Kentucky does not have a helmet law but, they do have a high fatality rate with MC accidents.

Re: I Bought An RPOC Today

I see you know the stuff to check on type 3 which is what I have on my '02. I found mine ran the best when I timed it static then bumped it up a bit at a time till the idle went smooth and the throttle response and power was good. I normally run 87 and have never had a ping or holed piston problem i...
