Re: Lightened Flywheel ...good or bad. 1980 M67-36 Solo

hey thanks Van for posting that. If i remember correctly Mr. Cobb was doing some extreme off road and was worried about heating the clutch on some of his up hill climbs. not sure why anyone would be worried about a over heated clutch on a solo.

Has been a while back, but I think Mr. Cobb drilled a a hole in the top of engine case over top of the clutch and installed some kind of air vent. Has been at least 5-7 years ago and I can't find the post. I would PM him

Van, that incredible news. She is a heart breaker. Adopted our son from Korea when he was 6 months old. Lot's of paperwork and hassle but it all worked out.

Another sure fire way would be to reach out to Illiya Khalit at head of IMZ in Redmond. Best way to do...

Re: 2019 GU dumped it's transmission oil.

You do not need the dip stick. I think it is more a pain in the butt than anything else. Drove a Ural for 12 years and was just fine without it. Just fill the trans to bottom of the threads and you are fine. I now own a 2020 and I was also surprised at the lack of sludge metal shavings on my drain p...
