Re: Pistol caliber carbines?

Moderators, with all due respect to the above poster, how is advocating for gun control NOT a political post? While I personally agree with almost everything he says, a line is crossed in the last paragraph. This thread has been about discussing/comparing legal firearms and not opinions concerning ...

It must be that time of the year, when the 2013 1WD FDs fail. Mine chunked a couple weeks ago and is on the bench waiting on repairs.
Mine problem unfortunately is completely my fault for over tightening the nuts. I hate it when that happens

Re: Correct 2011 Patrol Rear Brake Switch?

I need one for my 2013 tourist and it is different than all of those pictured. It might be simpler to just modify and use what you have than play musical switches. Seeing what you are dealing with thats what I think I'll do.

Re: Thinking about joining the club with a 1998 Ural Deco Classic

Good looking scoot. For comparison though I bought my 2013 tourist (no frills,19000K) 1.5 years ago with a gob of spare parts for 5,000. 20,000 K later and the only thing other than maintenance I've had to do is lately and 100% my fault for overtightening FD bolts. I'm no expert but unless you just ...

Re: FD bolts

Mike, you are way smarter than me on all this stuff but what could be the reason to fill in holes already cast in the parts resulting in a weaker attachment? Not that it matters at this point, I'm just baffled is all.

Re: PAYPAL WARNING

My boys are trying to get me to do a venmo account, aren't they part of paypal? I know I'm out of touch but I can't bring myself to mess with any of this stuff. Like harryball, above I DCd all cable nonsense 15 years ago and the only negative is explaining to astounded people that no, we do not have...

Next week we are having " Indian Summer ". Screenshot_20201010-215154.jpg Am I seeing this correctly? 101 degrees this week? I've been whining about 80s and getting all sweated up while hunting. I see now that I need to shut the hell up and be thankful that I'm not in Cali. It doesn't get that hot ...

Re: Raising the bar(s)...longer throttle cable needed

I'm only six feet and still find the bar/tractor seat combo uncomfortable. I was unable to raise my bars by even two inches over stock not due to cables but the wiring. Did you have to rewire? I

Re: Dealer Tool Kit for Gen 2 EFI (Moved)

Well, we are talking about an outfit that sells an itty bitty fender rack for well over a hundred when you can go to Home depots grill dept and get one that nobody can tell from OEM for 15$. I actually prefer the home made one I have to the original as I mounted it using rubber bottle stoppers which...
