Re: Permanently 2/3 disabled
Men fixing porch conspired with men doing driveway, got the money out me and ran $18,690 paid, $3,000 work done, and the car port repair failed.. I become another statistic ' cripple swindled by con men.' Been ill before men and after - seem to get overwhelmed nowadays. Froggy nigh on fixed, just so...

Re: Permanently 2/3 disabled
Froggy sleeps too much, I think, and forgets things. I forget everything, and we got on together trying to figure out what we forgot.. Crazy days.
The snow damaged the car port, and men are here fixing it every day. The track chair hasn't arrived yet, which sucks....

Re: Permanently 2/3 disabled
I am waiting impatiently for the three week lead time to complete. Paying for something and having to wait for it has never been something I enjoy, but it should be here in a couple of weeks or so.

Re: Permanently 2/3 disabled
Sorry guys, My memory is shot - I cannot remember something ten minutes ago, and totally forgot about the forum, and my emails. Just what life has to give me, so I accept that I forget everything. I have ordered an action track chair - a wheelchair with tracks.. not quite an ural, but at least an of...

Re: Permanently 2/3 disabled
Frog now 90% functional, and improving daily - I got my Frog back. She sitting with me listening to Mumford & Sons. I am coping a little better, learning to do things differently, like pick up my legs to move them, and shuffle around on my butt. It is different, but I am having fun learning - going ...

Glad you are ok, did the drive that hit you walk away from it?
At least they didn't break the tail light lenses.

Re: Permanently 2/3 disabled
Cool looking little frog. Got new van. drives nice, steering so light can do with one finger, or thumb - that is really light. the controls are equally light, I can control throttle, brake and steering with one hand using palm on control and thumb on wheel. There is an anti swerve mechanism, so even...

Re: Permanently 2/3 disabled
Financing approved, Wednesday is the pick up day. 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, with 14in lowered floor, zero effort steering, zero effort hand controls, with lock for my chair, and no driver's seat. I am looking forward to the first service - how will they get it to the bay.. The pedals exist, but are ...

Re: Permanently 2/3 disabled
The specialist evaluator I went to Atlanta to see spent five hours testing me for almost everything. Good news, I am back home now. It was an exhausting trip, and hotels do not have hospital beds, so I hardly slept a wink. Other news - I am officially 100% disabled - I cannot function sufficiently w...

Re: Permanently 2/3 disabled
Froggy is better, she laughs, hugs, helps, dresses me, just looks confused sometimes. I am so happy. I am waiting for things to happen, go to a specialist on Tuesday in Atlanta, another one on Thursday locally, and get an appointment for rehab this week also, to learn how to cope with a things taken...
