Gapless rings again

Saw a 2010 mention of a rebuild with gapless rings. Anyone tried these on a 650 since? Wondering if engine compression/longevity is better. Question came up in my mind since I’m in the process of a little top end work after 12000 miles and 16 years.

Re: KMZ Dnepr600 Trailer Acquisition

Chad, Might that be for alignment or travel restriction on the part that mates in that area? Oh, if you are taking votes... weld that broken bracket. Best, Jeff Travel restriction could be the function of that nipple. After I get everything cleaned up and start reassembly, I'll analyze it more thor...

Re: KMZ Dnepr600 Trailer Acquisition

Yes I do remember seeing this exact trailer
in use many years ago. Seems like I thought that Sid made it and Steve acquired it down the road. Correct me if I’m wrong Steve :)

Re: 2000 and earlier paint

The old chrome was tough too. Only one tiny chip on all my chrome and that’s on a wheel due to countless tire changes over the years.
