Re: FART 2019

Thanks for thorough post Bill. I did the same today but on the original 2019 FART Rally thread by mistake. Combined, we covered it all

Re: FART 2019

Well folks, another FART rally to notch in our belts. Nine bikes total so a light turnout. Was like old times since we had a failing bike (Bural), a starter swap (Rick), a long beautiful ride with mass confusion at the end, and the mystery 10mm nut driver found in my left carb, no, really! Re: FART 2019

FART rally host here. Opinions requested on the attached possible ride for Saturday lunch. The rally went here several years ago with good results. Will come up with some more suggestions and you all are welcome to also.
16 miles to lunch and 20 miles back is an easy ride...mike

Re: New Aluminum Fiber Gaskets

Need custom head gaskets on 2000 BC10 so am looking to Gaskets To Go to make solid copper ones once I send them a drawing. Any update on this? I'm sure there would be enough interest for them to crank out more than a few for Urals. Picking up two Al ones from Crawford at CRAP next week. Will then c...

Re: Type III Ignition

Yes, various parts degrade over time just from age. Often mice will chew up rubber, plastic bits to help the process along. Not saying you need them now but if the plug wires are 16 years old you'll at least need new ones soon. I would invest in a set. Coil won't degrade with time but I'd check the...

How about plugs and plug wires, have you tried switching them?

Happy trails,
