Re: 2014 MIR $10,400 SOLD

Sold to a local up here in the Cleveland area. He owns a couple Triumphs (Thunderbird and Bonneville) as well as 2 Porsches. The MIR is the perfect addition. His wife won't ride on the back of either of his 2wheelers but my guess is she'll love riding in the sidecar. As soon as I get this Super Seni...

Re: 2014 MIR $10,400

Ural owners know how much people like going for rides. It's a lot different than with a standard 2 wheeler. The last picture in my original comments shows the MIR in front of a tree in my backyard with "city signs" nailed to a tree that are kinda hard to read but represent where my brothers and kids...

I agree that the white metallic is pretty cool, but the rig looks great in a number of colors. So happens my Triumph is also white. Just a coincidence.

Re: 2014 MIR $10,400

The paint on that MIR needs to be seen to be truly appreciated. In person its BEAUTIFUL !!!. Agreed. It's a pleasant shade of white with a striking blue pearl clear coat. When the sun hits it, it's magical. I always felt the solar panel was a little hokey... ural-mir-huyen-thoai-sidecar-tai-xuat-vo...

2014 MIR $10,400 SOLD

My MIR is up for grabs. If I remember correctly there were only 20 of this special edition. 2wd. EFT. Solar panel included that replaces front luggage rack on the sidecar if you choose to use it. Looks and runs great. Approx 5,900 km. Northeast Ohio. Got a new hip that's allowing me to play golf aga...

Re: OK, now I'm excited

What a great time to get a new bike! I had hip replacement last month so I kinda feel the way a guy with a new rig might feel. Looking forward to getting on my MIR and getting going just as you no doubt are with your new addition. Good choice on the color. It's no satin nutmeg, but it will do.

Re: Average age???

I'm 20. Had a 125cc at age 17 then 650cc street bike at age 19, along with a few classic Brit two strokes. I currently have three bikes on the road including my Ural Red Star 650 solo. The Ural is my first personal "classic" but I've ridden my family's classic bikes for years. Never ridden a sideca...

....I know these bikes are expensive but they are both incredibly tough and incredibly fragile..... Yup ...But compared to a $44,000 Indian rig, it ain't all bad..... Yup ...Besides, they are a bare canvas. They are just waiting for us to make our own mark on them. Yup FWIW...I feel like I could dr...

Re: New Here, just bought a Ural

.... Ural steers like it has power steering compared to the Bonneville.... That is sure interesting. Maybe 'cause the Ural is designed for a sidecar? The only other sidecar rig I ever drove was a Harley. That was my first sidecar "test" drive. Just barely got it out of the parking lot before I turn...

Re: Newbie first Ural, Fly and Ride home advise please.

Ahh, c'mon. Do the ride. :boogie: Of course, family stuff obviously comes first, but the ride would sure be a great adventure. That said, I agree with the comments about the road manners taking some getting used to. As an old motorcycle guy that is new to this Ural thing, I can tell yah the bike its...

Great first picture Dude (one of my all-time favorite movies, BTW). Perfect bike for NW adventures, no doubt. Looking forward to hearing more. Is there a motorcycle in your background?
