Re: How many miles on a new URAl Gear Up

Mine had 43 Km on it when delivered It was in perfect condition Set up was right on, no pull in either direction at cruise. Slight pull under acceleration and deceleration. and straight under braking s I was grateful for the miles they put on it.

Re: Anyone done headgaskets in a newer Ford van?

Maybe you could just loosen the frame to body mounts and just jack it a couple of inches.

Re: New England meet-ups

There is a military vehicle show at the Chester fairgrounds I was thinking of going to. But then again I may have to work Saturday, I should know tomorrow. Depends if the steel erectors are working or not. On a second note anyone from Ct thinking of going to this:

Good luck Andy, I have a hard enough time just changing the Ignition coils on my 2002 E250.

Re: Should I be concerned

I use redline heavy duty shockproof also, but it stays fairly pink between 2500km changes (now at 47500km). One time it turned grey there was massive swarf on the drainplug and the nose bearing had disintegrated. It is a 2016 1600 Km since last change. There was very little swarf on drain plug IMG_...

Should I be concerned

So I changed the lube in my final drive today. I use Redline heavy duty shockproof.
Does any one know if shockproof that is quite red when fresh darkens with use.
There was an average amount of swarf on the drain plug. Any thoughts?

Love the pics. Dogs in doggles always crack me up. They really seem to love riding with their big buddies. How many times have you had to deploy the drag chute

Re: Lagavulin

Lagavulin is far to peaty for me. I prefer Macallan, Glenlivet, or Glen fiddich. After a particularly trying day at work I had my wife pick me up a bottle of Macallan 18. Now that is a glass of heaven right there.
