Re: Front row seat......
We live in a very quiet, small town just outside a medium sized city...and in a cul-de-sac to boot. Several years ago, a car full of idiots drove down from a neighboring state to the city just to our north and started some trouble in the parking lot of a bar. When the police were called, they fled i...

I installed the group-buy glass sensor unit and it’s worked perfectly ever since.

Re: Dale Walksler ..... Wheels Through Time
That’s very sad, Dale was truly a great guy. I have a video somewhere of him taking my youngest son for a ride in an old Harley hack.

Re: ACF50 all over the bike?
The flight school I used to work at would fog the inside of the airframes of the training aircraft. It was great for corrosion prevention, but a real PITA when it came time to repaint something.
I use it on lots of stuff on the bikes.

Re: Flinter fun & futzing
Mainly because of a now deceased friend who was involved with reenactments I played around with black powder for a few years. Not nearly as nit picky as a flinter but there was still plenty of $#!+ to go wrong. While I did enjoy it with him my main take away was a tremendous respect for the men out...

How often does the timing need to be checked? Re: Half drunk & wandering
I’ve used cereal box cardboard for gaskets on small engines in the past, but now I just keep an assortment of gasket material on hand. My wife got a new Cricut machine last year and I’m told you can scan images in and use it to cut out gaskets. I’ll eventually get around to giving that a try.

Re: What did you do ON your Ural today?
Brought home 2 4x4x8’ and 6 2x4x8’ pressure treated lumber from the lumber yard on it, piece of cake. Got some strange looks from the yard workers though. Probably no stranger than when I brought a 12 foot butcher block countertop home with my Ural. It's my pick-up truck now. Yep! I love how useful...
