Rob - if you decide to sell, my brother may be interested. He's in PA, so not too far from you. Thanks brian

Re: Need a complete Dnepr mt16 or earlier engine

Dnepr motor - never seen just a motor for sale. Ural - you can try Terry Crawford http://www.crawfordsales.info/ or maybe Gobium (Van Le)
https://lemoto.info/has one sitting around. If your Dnepr motor is repairable, these 2 may also be able to assist.

Re: buying online

I bought my MT-11 in 2015, if I recall right, it was a craigslist ad. I am in TN, he was in MD. He sent pics, we spoke on the phone a few times. I mailed him a check and allowed it to clear and sent a shipping company to his address to pick up the rig. 4-5 days later it arrived in TN. I knew it was ...

Re: Battery Fire

Sounds like the ratchet took the brunt of the damage, but since it was on fire, do a visual check of the wiring for burns, splice in where needed. Battery wise it probably drained completely, if it charges and holds a charge I would use it. Confirm with volt meter the volt level before charging. Dou...

Re: Dnepr for sale - Connecticut

Price seems fair for a project bike, assume it turns over fine..The bill of sale only makes it harder to sell.

Re: Donut replacement - 1967 MB-750: ANSWERED.

Update. I replaced the donut, yoke slipped right off when I pulled differential (yay :boogie: ), managed to muscle old donut out, but no way was their clearance to install new. Ended up unmounting motor again and moving forward 2 inches to get clearance. I couldn't see majority of damage to donut du...

Re: Why the HD Police Seat

Comfort. larger seat area and better padding than tractor seat. I have one on my MT-11, ugly due to size, but I really don't care what others think, its my bike, my choice. I had a bench seat, hated the look. I have tractor seats on my 67 MB-750.

Donut replacement - 1967 MB-750: ANSWERED.

Donut on my 67 is showing serious wear, since this is a 2 wheel drive unit, it almost looks like it would be easier to drop the exhaust, unbolt motor/trans and move it forward to replace donut. Looks like there is 2.5 - 3 inches of space between frame and cylinders to move forward. Thoughts. Gave it...

Maytag, no wait Kenmore..Seriously though, URALNW.COM has diagrams for Patrol-T's..Perhaps you can compare diagrams to what you've assembled and see if you find the missing washer

Re: Dnepr MT-11 wheel offset?

I have an MT-11, running the 3.75 tires, offset is 5mm from brake drum edge (as Claus already points out now that I read everyone's posts) on my rims.

Re: My K65 carb is leaking .... why?

Almost put my foot in my mouth and said K65's don't have ticklers, they have enrichers, then I looked up some documents and I learned something new, some version of the K65 do have ticklers..Anyway I am with Claus and Recycled, needle issue. I also assume you are using an ethanol based gas, I had sa...
