Found a plastic plug at "Blowes". A little too large, but I forced it in. Might not be water "tight", but hasn't fallen out in over a year.

That's a great question. If they were to be installed on a motorcycle, my answer would be, "HELL no." Since they're going on a little trailer, I'm willing to experiment a bit. :)

I just added about 6 inches of fuel line to each side, put the tank back on and trimmed the hose to my liking. Mine is not the best looking, but it works.
