Why can't I search for "kill switch" ?

Postby harryball » Fri Mar 11, 2016 6:05 pm

I can search for pretty much anything I want until I search for kill switch. Then I get...

I can search for kill, I can search for switch... but not kill switch. :?

Maybe easier to try BRS then.

I was referring to the forum search tool itself, not external search sources. I find it curious, why can't I search for "kill switch" using the forum search tool?

As to the smart a$$ responses, well I would post a "how to" video for you but it would be taken down, use your imagination.

harryball,
I was being serious, the kill switch is usually referred to here as to as the Big Red Switch or BRS. Because many of us are pressed for time or lazy, we more often use BRS.
Also since I saw your other thread on this, I have had your symptoms show up with a loose ground and a loose power connection and once the BRS needed cleaned. If it is a loose power connection that shuts down your engine and loses lights, I would look to a main ground or the connections at the fuse block or key switch. It could be the switch itself but I usually try connections first. Since the lights go out too, you could turn on the key without starting and then jiggle fuses and connections and watch for blinks.
I may not be good, but I'm slow.

IT's even easier than you can hope for.

Use this google search phrase to search ANY website that allows search access. It doesn't use the sites search engine.

site:sovietsteeds.com kill switch

on the URL line of your browser:
type - site: then no space between the URL you want to search.
put a space between the .com and the first work of your search

i.e. if you want to search sovietsteeds.com for kill switch discussions that Lmo took part in try

site:sovietsteeds.com kill switch Lmo

Typical result
https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3A ... 8&oe=utf-8
