I know, why not just use good 'ol 20w50...but I ended up with a supply of this stuff that will last through the zombie apocalypse. I was not able to find any markings on the bottle or info on the MSDS. Safe to use in the Ural trans?

Only thing I know of that is harmful to yellow metals, are EP(Extreme Pressure) rated lubes. If it's not EP rated and the correct viscosity, prolly work fine. Is there even any yellow metal in a Ural trans?

There is no yellow metal in Ural gearbox. It will work with any oil.
There is one brass washer in Ural final drive. But that washer is not essential part.

Good to know. Not sure what I read here to make me think that.

I was due for an oil change and gave it a shot. Shifting action seems a bit lighter than it was with dino 20w50.
