Front cover conversion-which spin on oil filter?

Front cover conversion-which spin on oil filter?

Postby Siggy » Mon Mar 07, 2016 11:22 pm

My 2013 Retro (used) came with the front cover conversion. It has a larger, unmarked oil filter installed, not like the stubby 2014+ oil filters. I have searched the forum and can find no mention of the proper oil filter to be used with the conversion kit. Is there a generic auto filter that can be used or something that has to be ordered from dealer? Thanks in advance!

I don't have experience with the conversion kit but I would bet money that it is the same filter as the later models. Some of the other makes of filters are longer but do the same job
