That might be hard to do as they quit making them in the 1980's and only 10 were imported to the USA ten years ago.

Yeah, I know...

I still think a Gear-up 2WD with a box would make a great hunting/fishing/camping vehicle...

Can you post a few more pics of the box hack and some dimensions. I might just have to fab one up...

Removing the tub from the hack frame and swapping out for a cargo box seems like a pretty simple trick. Near as I can figure, it's just a few bolts and an electrical connection. Am I missing something?
That KLR rig is tres cool!

The Sputnik Cargo box is wider then the Ural body and the frames mount differently. When the KLR sells I intend to do just that with my Extra Sputnik box.

Iffin' you have a Ural cargo box, yes, I believe it's about eight bolts to remove the passenger hack body, and the electrical connections if you have one of those new fangled bikes.

I did have to make a spacer for the rear of the cargo box. Found some rubber plumbing adapters at the hardware store that worked just fine at leveling the thing out and taking the place of the rubber snowmen.

I will really try to make some detailed sketches of what the Ural box looks like. Some angle iron, sheet metal and modest welding skills is all that is needed to make one.
