2000 Deco Classic for Sale

Postby gointodaytona » Mon Jul 03, 2017 5:31 pm

I am breaking down and selling Natasha. We have been through thick and thin, and I hope to find someone to enjoy her as much as me and my family. She has a few scratches in the paint, and a little rust in the bucket. There is a crack in the bucket tail light, I put red tape over it and it works fine.

I have a 2001 exactly like yours including a replacement engine. I always thought this was the nicest looking color combination on the Deco Classics. Someone is going to get a really nice machine for a good price. Good luck with the sale!

I know this bike, gointodaytona is the treasurer of the club I am pres of. It's in this video:

You can see how well it runs, and with flat land gearing! Engine was obtained from a member here and is one of the sweetest running 650s I've heard. Bike really needs to stay put, but isn't and deserves a good home. This is a one owner bike, came from Adirondack Ural. If you remember and went to the Spitz (I did not) Rally, you've seen this rig. Want to see what a good (really, this is a good one) old Ural was really like? This would be your rig!

I just watched it again, damn, that thing does run good! Folks, as much as I DO NOT WANT HER TO SELL IT, she is going to and it is going to make someone happy. Good old well kept 650. It needs (not really, but gonna happen) new home.

I've had a few interested parties, but no takers yet. Price reduced to $3500.00. Still running great, and lots of fun!

My Daughter just found this. Somebody needs to hurry and buy this rig. I've seen it running, made the Atlanta Ride For Kids this year. It is a sweet running rig.

Did you have to drill out new holes to make that rear fender rack fit?

This is a pretty bike. I showed my wife (who loves our white Patrol), and she told me really liked the color and we should get it. If only. Then I reminded her we had to spend $4k on a new transmission for our Xterra. If circumstances were different, we would be all over this.

I have 3 Urals, you need 3 Urals too... ;-) And that one has NOTHING in common with your other 2, it even has flat land gearing...

No she did not, I've known this bike a while...it's Drag Specialties Rack that Ural used to sell ages ago. Been on the bike since new. Matches the 4 holes already there for the stock back seat

Thanks BigJames for picking up my slack! He is correct, no drilling needed on my fender for the rack. Looks alot better than the tractor seat option for sure.
