This weekend time changed :(
so now it will be dark when I get home :(
and the potty :bs: rides be short now :o
except for the weekends :D

This weekend was perfect weather for riding  and working around the house too :x

One of my projects required some paint
so I used some that I had acquired for Ural things, that wasn't quite the right color.
If we ever repaint our rig I've found the new color scheme

Yesterday evening we decided to head across the river to potty
and sight see :)
and that lead to a drive out on the sand bar
where I figured we get stuck & we did!!!!!
I was able to just push us out once we got out, of the rig :P

2 of our surfers rode until 2 days before passing by. The Irish Setter/Golden breed even ran that day 3km beside the rig with still 30kmh 20mph.
Crawl over the jungle river stones at the end of the trail was her favourite escape.
Difficult to do with a blind Golden now and the Labrador hits her tumor...but damn, she taught even the blind Lab how to lean into the bends and Negra now sees double riding, as she "has" to show the poor blind one where the road heads to...
No potty though, as they are too excited when riding and live in an open farm.
Yes, the evenings have so many interesting smells :boogie:

8 weeks 12.000km Oregon - Alaska - Oregon, now in CR 39.000km and counting.
With a DIY foam air filter the rig runs well even in tropical rain. The air box looks then like an aquarium. :moto:
Final drives: 1. at 5000km, 2. at 34.000km(+friction plates)
transmission: 1. 39.000km. 2. on its way.

Howdy Charlie,

Newt and I sure miss riding with you and Kofi, thanks for taking us along on a few potty rides while we were visiting with you folks. We are in Arizona now, will be leaving from Milo's home tomorrow and heading toward Craig and Jennies home in California where the darn sticker bushes are everywhere, Newt will have to wear his boots when we get there. Pet that Dog and give it a hug for me.

Newt, in the box, says Howdy, as we set off to explore an old long abandoned gold mine and town.

Well since time change :( we're down to neighborhood rides in the mornings before work and weekend rides :)

It finally turned winter this week

we broke ice yesterday and it's still there today

but in the sun it was warm 8)
Perfect jacket weather :D
I wear a light jacket whike ridding with my buddy this time of year, so I have a better feel for the tempature as not to let my buddy get to cold.

Howdy Charlie,

Please keep posting to this thread, the weather is so darn miserable here it does my heart good to see you and Kofi, doing the potty rides. The last time Newt, was in his box was when we were in southern California staying with Craig and Jennie, cold, wet, rain filled days here in the Nor-Wet.

Agreed, good thread for those dealing with less than ideal riding weather! I like your thought of wearing lighter jacket to monitor the temperature, sorta the reason I don’t ride with the windshield. Keep up the rides and posts!

Hey Dave

Thanks :D
Sorry to hear yall's riding season had ended for this year :(
Kofi's almost has too and he's mad about it too
Over the last few years of monkeying Kofi has turned into a social butterfly
He wants to get out and ride, explore, visit, & potty everywhere

It sounds like ya'll are keeping busy and before you know it warm weather will be back
and Newt will be back in the box with his ears flapping in the breeze :D

Hey BD

Thanks and also sorry too :) :(
We have a longer riding season here but we pay for it in the summer
I run the windshield and elephant ears in the winter because this is my primary ride :D
and it's dark and cold by the time I head home :(
and :old:

Hope ya'll have some more mild days and get in a few short rides :D

Well today ended another year of potty riding
The evening rides I take with Kofi are the greatest way I can think of to end the day :)
riding Daisy in the more rural areas with Kofi and stopping to walk and explore or just sit and enjoy the view
and of corse POTTY!!!! :bs: :bs: :bs:

Today we went about 4pm, it was in the mid 20's  and windy!!!
So we kept the speed down 20mph max
The sky was light blue and the clouds pale white with the sun shining brightly in the Southwest
and a huge pale white moon was opposite it in the Northeast 8)
On our route home we drop off a hill overlooking the airport and in the distance is Mt Nebo
and this time of year the sun sets right behind it :D
WHAT A VIEW!!!!!

and here are a few photos  as always
