Metalcarver, very nice. I don't get out much anymore but used to work in ID, MT and really miss it.

Yes! Please note Engineer of Russian motorcycle: Russian butt is skinny and hard, American butt is large and fluffy.

I put on a HD police solo. Hard mount, no springs and is wonderful.

metalcarver, i resemble that remark! as my dad used to say, (two axe handles wide). if i were to become a serious traveler on my Ural ,i would add a HD police solo. I have a raceway solo with springs which is leaps and bounds better than the tractor. Find it amazing when i see a Ural on a long trip with the stock seat, talk about iron butt!! Think a bony/skinny butt, can hurt also. like no padding! :sarcasm: :boogie: :boogie:

FWIW (millennial code  ) Here's a link to the map of my travels this year.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/15XJ22KqC3LwBcPVuK4xUOQ0JHjG0v_7Q/view?usp=sharing
It should open on a Google Maps page. Be sure to switch to satellite view and you can zoom in close enough to see the road surface. Yellow=pavement. Orange=dirt. You can also download the file and load it into Google Earth. Then you can save an individual track as a .kml file and take it to:
http://gpx2kml.com/
Where you can convert it to a gpx file for your gps.

More code:
I'm an old SOB who is usually FUBAR!
