Most people here prefer the off road military bikes - pretty hard to put a shine on flat cammo paint. As for cleaning - a good number of these bikes do soil themselves (weep Oil) Mine stays clean, but likes to mark it's territory, & does so wherever I park over night. I outsmarted it - & bought a big drip pan. The odd part is - I've never seen any oil loss on my dipstick, or when checking oil levels, & can't find the source. My own fault for using that Sneaky-Houdini Synthetic Oil.
I'm sure there are a few here who like the caked Goo & Mud pack "experienced" look, but My 02 Ural is a street bike, & I prefer CLEAN toys so I can see possible trouble coming. I also try to be personally presentable in public. Even so, at 71 I don't need to fake an experienced appearance.
Speaking of experienced looking.....
