It does not. Unless the needle is bent or damaged we do not recommend replacing it. To adjust your needle and it is the non adjustable type , we include special shims to fit under the c-clip to raise the needle, if you have the adjustable type we also include adjusters that are 1/2 steps between the clips for more fine tuning. Also, the stock needles are harder than the aftermarkets so wear does not become an issue, so fuel consistency is significantly better with the stock OEM factory needle retained. If you want, you can gently rub the needle with aluminum foil, to enhance the consistency even more. Since each kit is custom designed we don't do calculations and research to determine jetting until a kit has been purchased. If there are specific jet sizes that you would like included in your kit please indicate the sizes you want when you leave your specs in the Notes to Seller.
